Saskatchewan Baseball Association
1999 Player of the Year - Jordan Keller

Jordan Keller had a successful year playing on several
teams, the Melville Prospects, Melville AAA Midgets,
Melville Millionaires of the Sask. Major Baseball
League, Yorkton Bandits and ultimately Team
Saskatchewan.
In total the season gave Jordan 99 official at bats
and he replied with 48 hits. He had 20 singles, 14
doubles, 9 triples, 5 home runs, 41 runs batted in.
At the S.B.A. zone and provincial playoffs Jordan had
a .666 batting average and played error free baseball.
Jordan is very dedicated to any team he plays on and
his love for baseball is apparent as he encourages
teammates to take their game to the next level. He is
a power hitter with exceptional bat speed. His
confident yet calm approach at the plate unnerves
opposing pitchers. When he steps to the plate he has
the ability to change the game with one swing of the
bat.
As a member of Team Saskatchewan Baseball Canada has
recognized Jordan’s baseball ability and he is one of
24 player selected to try out for Team Canada in
Florida next spring. Presently Jordan is busy
training for the 2000 season and is hopeful of
pursuing a career in baseball.
